Style consultation after colours

I have had colours done with colour me beautiful but think I really need style advice. Can anyone tell me what it involves - I can't imagine how it would work unless you had a load of clothes to try on so you could see what looked right.

Don't know how it's done at CM , but at House of Colour they have a questionnaire thing which asks lots of seemingly unrelated questions which, bizarrely, reveal your style personality. You then go on to learn which styles suit that personality, so you can adapt it to what's around at the moment, your age, budget, lifestyle etc.
It's a few years since I've had it done but there's been a thread discussing it recently, the one with the word 'coral' in the title. You'd need to scroll down to the last few days' posts I think.
