It includes some sort of arm cover thingy apparently

However I'm not sure about the pics of it here.

Good for her for doing it though

polyhymnia and I really thought she was fab until today when I saw those bags.Sad

polyhymnia · 24/08/2011 23:03

Well I liked her too from her TV shows and journalism - but this has changed my view I'm afraid.

oldenoughtowearpurple · 24/08/2011 23:07

I really like some of the shoes - especially the leopardskin ankle boots - and the fact they are from Clarks gives me hope I might actually get my lumpy feet in them.

Haven't seen any clothes I like yet though, all far too skinny-jeans.

Suffering Jesus.

I'll be 57 soon and would rather poke my eyes out than wear that stuff. Very 80s, and not in a good way.

goingmadinthecountry · 25/08/2011 09:14

I'd frighten my friends if I dressed like that and my teenagers would definitely get me locked up. Am 47 and would never wear Clarks or Radley - I do have a fringed bag (well, 2 - one's an ancient Russell and Bromley job that re-emerges every couple of years) but it's much nicer and from Topshop for £40 - surprisingly nice looking suede and no naff dog tag on it. I think I've seen those red and orange shoes on a market stall....

nothingnatural · 25/08/2011 12:08

Hold on ladies, ok that bag was a bit grim but there are some nice ones on her site. Also I like some of those clothes - so gwan shoot me, partic some of the colourful stuff. Mind you some of the frocks are a bit, um, short. ok I concede that point. but stick by the bags comment.

nothingnatural · 25/08/2011 12:11

Also the shoes are ACE. Farking hell ladies you need to come out to Australia then you'd be a bit more grateful. Try shopping for shoes in the land that bought you Ugg boots and thongs.

nothingnatural · 25/08/2011 12:12

To clarify I'm in rural oz. We shop for comfort here.

upahill · 25/08/2011 12:13

The thing is the stuff that is quite nice is by Max Mara and Whistles which I would normally like anyway. They have been chosen by Mary. I could easily have chosen stuff and called it 'Especially picked by Upahill' and showcased a nice trench coat.

THe stuff that is Mary's is a bit rubbish really and a huge let down.

cyb · 25/08/2011 12:14

I actually dont mind the stuff but it is VERY what MP would wear on her shows.

Not enough range really. I reckon we will see LOTS of women dressed up like Mary in the next few months

But she 'liked' a comment a made about it on FB so she's offically my new bf
