Need a packing list for holiday in Egypt.

We are off on hols soon. Luxor for 7 days. I think I have far too many clothes.

I have 2 maxi dresses, 3 long skirts, tops of numerous colours, lengths etc. 3 pairs of linen trousers, 1 pair of long denimish colour trousers, 4 pairs (long) shorts, swimwear, underwear, 2 long sleeved loose linen tunics.

Is this too much? I havent even started on shoes yet!

It's not really a detailed list as such but here's an essentials holiday checklist for girls. I'm not too sure if this is being sexist?? but it's quite funny and speaks the truth either way : )

we are back! Had a lovely week in glorious sunshine, very hot, but bearable (mostly). Of course I didnt wear most of my clothes, my skirts and maxi dresses were my 'best' holiday picks.

The people were very friendly, the Hotel staff were excellent, went out of their way to make sure the kids were happy, the Italian restaurant even had the kids making their own pizza!

I have to say they are out to make a buck and the continual hassle if you are not with a guide when out and about is horrendous. Everyone we spoke to was of the same opinion - the hassle and pestering was a pain. I think the British are too polite, it just isnt in me not to speak to them but in the end to ignore the pests was the only way to go about looking and buying without much hassle.
