I can't decide between these two pairs of boots!

can anyone help? I am looking for a nice brown boot that I could wear casual and slightly smarter too. Not seen either in person, has anyone else?

Would be sooooo grateful for some opinions thanks!

I like the Clarks ones much more than the M&S ones!

noddyholder · 11/08/2011 15:09

I can't see them

NewChoos · 11/08/2011 15:17

I have got the clarks boots in Black and wore them loads last year, very comfy and versatile.

worldgonecrazy · 11/08/2011 15:37

I prefer the M&S boots, I think that they are a bit more flexible and could look either smart or casual.

FakePlasticTrees · 11/08/2011 15:42

Prefer the Clarks ones. If you really can't decide, go for the cheaper ones.

mankyscotslass · 11/08/2011 15:43

I've got the Clarks ones in black, I wore them a lot last year and loved them.

RedBlanket · 11/08/2011 15:45

Prefer M&S, they look smarter.

sparkle1977 · 11/08/2011 15:46

I don't love either but I would say the M&S are a bit better.

AmongstWomen · 11/08/2011 15:47

Clarks

fluffles · 11/08/2011 15:48

i think the clarks ones are nicer if you genuinely want a casual boot, but the m&s ones are smarter if that's what you want...

noddyholder · 11/08/2011 16:11

Def Clarks

superjobee · 11/08/2011 16:19

clarks for sure

Yr1Mum · 11/08/2011 16:24

I have the Clarks in black and my SIL has them in brown. The brown ones have an "already worn" kind of finish which increases over time making them look less smart. They're still lovely boots (and I'm happy with my black ones) but if you want them for casual and smart use I'd say go for the M&S ones deffo.

dexter73 · 11/08/2011 16:58

Clarks

harassedandherbug · 11/08/2011 17:18

I like the Clarks ones best, but I like both!

I think the M & S ones would keep better. I have some Next ones in similar finish to the Clarks ones, and after two winters they look very worn!

So if you want to be able to wear them for smart then the M & S ones.

Clarabumps · 11/08/2011 17:49

Def Mand S!!!

PetiteMum · 11/08/2011 20:06

Hmmm, more votes for Clarks it seems... And now I've seen these!

I like both but prefer the M&S boots. I got these last year, or possibly the year before and they have worn really well and are very comfy.
