Hoping that the SHORT sleeves on cardigans/ jumpers/ coats is over

Hoping the knee high boots are here to stay.

I don't enjoy the hot summer and want to start planning my wardrobe (back to work so should be able to afford to buy some clothes again!)

I'm very tempted by a pair of these too for frivolous wearings here they are on the same page as Dexter's lovely jumper which also come in that lovely mulberry/old rose shade.

I like pencil skirts and wear them whether in or out, so will continue with those.

Chunky knit wear and polo knecks are an absolute no no for me, though I can get away with a v fine polo neck top worn under a v neck jumper.

I've got an ancient black pleated midi skirt that I wore a lot for work this summer and do quite fancy one in another colour too. I'm not tall but I am reasonably slim - the trick is to wear quite quirky heels with them, I think.

I also want a lace top but most of them have got quite high necks and that's no good for me. Have seen a promising looking one in FC so will go and investigate.

And yy to silk blouses - something else that I wear a lot anyway.

I LOVE those ankle boots.

How do you stay warm in silk blouses? It seems a shame to cover them up, but is silk that warm?

You wear silk blouses in the workplace which is heated.

I have one very nice Brora silk blouse and find it very hot to work in, I'm thinking of moving it to casual wear with jeans and a cami underneath it.
