Purple hair products

I've bought some John Frieda purple shampoo and conditioner to tone down my highlights as they're looking a bit brassy. Firstly does it work? And secondly, do I continue to use it after I get fresh highlights done or is it not to use all the time?

You can continue to use it but most people find if they use it every time its too much, it can start to build up.

As long as your highlights are quite "light", it will make a considerable difference. It really does tone down brassiness and restore bleach highlights to a creamy white

Thanks, so just use it for a while when it's starting to look brassy and use normal shampoo otherwise?
