Hi everyone,
Talking to friends and family, it is clear that the lingerie on offer for maternity and/or nursing doesnt quite cut it, even from apparent specialists in the industry.
I am a designer currently researching into maternity and nursing lingerie, to help me develop an extensive range of lingerie for mums, but i need your help! I do not yet have children so I dont have any first hand experience, which is where you guys come in.
If you could help me with any of the below questions, that would be fantastic. Or if you have any pointers, please please share them with me. I want to create products that tick all the boxes, so I need to understand exactly what you, as mums, need. If you have been frustrated with what was on offer, here is your chance to make a difference.
Where did you get your maternity/nursing lingerie from?
What was it like? Were you happy with it?
What would you do differently?
What were you advised to wear? By firends or midwives?
How many styles do you need? For before birth/feeding/sleeping/once you stop feeding?
What did you feel you needed? Was it support, something comfortable or something that looked nice?
How important was the fashion/looks side to you?
What about knickers? Underbump or overbump?
Any help would be greatly apreciated! I look forward to your comments.
Lucie :)
