Do these shoes work with this dress??

Bought the Phase Eight Verity here today for a wedding in October, it is indeed the most sublimely flattering dress in the universe. I'm just a little worried it is a bit too "womanly" iyswim. I'm 38, I know I'm no spring chick but there will be lots of fab outfits and I dont want to feel frumpy.

Anyways, I thought maybe these. Whaddayathink?

That dress is GORGEOUS. The shoes are not to my taste though - I don't like animal prints.

Timeforcake DCs are invited, mixed feelings on that! They are 10 and 12 so not high maintenance but still, not quite the same! We are a big close family and all the cousins will be there so plenty to keep them occupied. Have a lovely night

amothersplace animal print is def the marmite of fashion. I love it, in small accents. I already have 4 pairs of animal print shoes in different styles/colours. I find it really lifts a simple outfit. Will have a plain bag and the dress is plain so think I can pull it off without too much of a Bet Lynch vibe!
