Best eye cream for a new mum? Is La Prairie worth it?

DC2 due any day and I'm looking to treat myself to a new eye cream to help mask the sleepless nights as much as possible. I already have my Guerlain Issima Midnight Secret in the bathroom cabinet, ready to go.

But what eye cream will help to reduce the bags/shadows? Is La Prairie worth it? I used their skin caviar before but wasn't convinced, maybe because I didn't use it daily but tried to make it last. Have previously been a fan of Clarins Beauty Flash and eye cream, so have that as a tried-and-tested fallback. Just fancied treating myself to combat the shell shock of the first weeks with two DCs!

it depends what you're after, ie dryness, wrinkles, puffiness....as there is no one thing that can tackle all (despite claims)

I've reviewed a few, my prob is not wrinkles though, it's bags....so can def recommend Oskia; as a "proper" cream, so far I love Shiffa and Stem
