OCM is not shifting my foundation. Need something to use first.

I'm using jojoba and castor oil and my skin was looking fab until I started using the newish clinique moisture surge tinted moisturizer. It's great so I dont want to change to a different foundation but Ive started to break out and I've realized it's because OCM is not quite shifting the foundation.

Is there a very gentle make up remover I can use first that won't bugger about with my skin and strip it?

Dermalogica pre cleanse or liz earle cleanse and polish taken off with muslin.
I always double cleanse when wearing make up

Also have you seen the new first aid beauty range the cleanser has got great reviews I would still double cleanse. It was a sell out in the usa and it available at Boots google to read reviews and blogs.

I would not use Clinque moisturiser personally try to do without it ten days to see if you skin changes. I like active moist Dermalogica or Mama Mio mighty moisture.

Are you putting the oil on DRY skin and taking it off with a muslin cloth?

Liz Earle and Dermy precleanse are just expensive versions of the OCM though really - the suspension of fats in water (Liz Earle) and a lathery oil (Dermologica) - I've got both and I love them but one of the points of OCM is that you can do the hot cloth/pomade thing without £££ but get the skin benefits of an oil cleanse.

Have you tried just doing a double cleanse?

Aveeno cream works as well as Liz Earle imo.

yes, def apply to dry skin and remove with hot water and muslin - if need be, do it twice (as in, apply oil and remove oil twice)

Yes I was putting the oil on dry skin and using a clean, damp muslin to remove. I'll try double cleansing and see if that works for me.

Olive oil and hot muslin cloth or the cheap Boots version of Liz Earle cleanse and polish
