Ok, pencil or ideally twisty black eyeliner that doesn't slide off?

I used to use the mac twisty kohl eyeliner and then switched to the collection 2000 one to save big bucks...however it's smudges under my eyes terribly quickly and doesn't last long. Would rather not have to pay out for the mac as I found the pen/pencil quite bad quality the end always snapped/fell off making it difficult to twist up.
Any other recommendations??

I use the Clinique ones. I can't vouch for their smudginess as I just wear it in lines on my top lids, over YSL touche éclat as an eye base. But is seems to stay put when I do?

Superdrug do a range of cosmetics 2true, which are £1.95 each. Their twisty eyeliners are fantastic - I wear the brown all day, and the black on evenings out. Highly recommend them, I've tried more expensive ones and cheaper ones, but swear by these.

If possible go to bobbi brown and get them to try out the gel eye liner on you. I find this really lasts.

I'd second the bobbi brown gel eye liner- doesn't budge till you take it off!
