email today to say mine is on its way- but not the Rainy day mac yet or the velvet coat.
So-waiting for the ruffle hem cord skirt, the mohair cardi, the uptown dress and the double layer dress.

Ordered far more than I can afford and maybe keep half of what comes if I like any of it.

anyone got anything yet?

Patent skinny belt gorgeous, I am size 10 and have got the XS
Ruffled cord skirt fab, excellent fit - I have the 10 and it fits me perfectly, other Boden skirts are sometimes too big around waist.
Cashmere cropped cardigan gorgeous, colour a bit more pinky than orangey, not sure I can justify the cost when I have a pink one quite similar, still deciding.
DS1's vintage jeans are brilliant, looks like a traditional button fastening but it's a slide so he can do it himself easily
DS1's long sleeve t-shirt much too big. I expected too long in sleeve and overall length, but it's far too wide at the bottom, as if they are expecting children to have a pot belly.

Has anyone got a 20% discount code for Boden as I love the rainyday mac but quite pricey. If anyone has one what is the sizing like? I am tall and wonder if the arms will be long enough!

Got the Barcelona jacket/cardi in grey - lovely colour and knit but just a little too shapeless on me to justfy keeping.
Love the Bella jumper in military blue - sized up as I usually do with knitwear but think I will exchange for normal size.
Fleecy hat thingy for DS (navy with grey skull) v, v cute - tho on the small size.

No 20% codes available at the moment, the best one I could get was the 10% discount codes with free returns and free delivery.

denim shirt - horrible stiff material and just all round nasty

breton tshirt is lovely - much nicer than the summer one

EuphemiaMcGonagall · 29/07/2011 21:57

I got the colourblock tunic today and it's lovely - it has a nice autumn/winter weight to the material.

I also got the autumn breton and I'm impressed by the quality.

The Sophie jumper is nice but I decided I had enough grey and want to swap for the blue shade. However, I am also loking at a few nice bits of knitwear from the White Company.

I tend to order quite a bit but return quite a bit. I'm a size 10, 5' 5".

Adult:

Cosy Parka - the big purchase of the season for me. Heavy and very much a wax cotton jacket but fits surprisingly nicely. I can see it withstanding the harsh winters we have here so think I will keep it. Might have to try it on a few more times to be 100% sure about it.

Chelsea cardigan - nice enough but not flattering on - suspect I'm too short-waisted for it, but it skimmed my bust and hips nicely leaving lots of excess material around my waist. Fine if you're like a Boden model i.e. straight up and down, but not if you go in and out. Going back. Suspect it will bobble anyhow.

Tie front cardigan - ordered in peppermint and navy; both going back. It is rather itchy and suspect it will bobble - WHY the obsession with merino and cashmere? They are indeed lovely but utterly impractical for heavy wear.

Velvet cami I got the magpie and the pewter. Unlike the summer cami the straps are fully adjustable, which is helpful if you want to avoid a gaping neckline. Great staples; may also order the cardamom.

Half zip hoody - ooh, this is lovely. Quite a slim fit but snuggly and flattering. Am sitting on hands to avoid buying another one.

Tweed mini - oh dear. Not flattering and not really 'mini' either. Ordered in duck egg melange (WTF is a melange anyhow?). Oddly stiff although at least it was lined, unlike many of last years skirts, and stuck out rather than gently hugging figure. Going back.

Children:

Owl pinafore dress - lovely! My almost three-year-old is delighted with it too.

Girls camel duffle coat - wasn't sure about this when I ordered it, but it's lovely and looks like it will wear well. Glad I bought the camel, as it'll go with a range of things and frankly at this price she will be wearing it all winter (and then her younger sister will wear it too).

Overall, have returned just over half of the things I'd ordered. The problem is, reading these reviews, I'm tempted by other items now.
