And can it be done when you don't have buckets of time and money?
And do you have to wear heels??

Good quality perfume, not too much

Great nails - toes and hands

Great skin - including hands and feet

Tidy hair

Well fitting clothes

Not having children I think.

There is such a thing as overly polished. The various Real Housewives are instructive here.

I look polished at work, but rarely out of work Confused

At work my hair is "done", make up is on, clothes work together.

I try and do it out of work, but tend to look disheveled and a bit studenty. I do fine on the days where I were ballet flats with jeans rather than converse I feel more put together.

My rules for looking polished are clean freshly washed hair and neatly filed nails. A splash of perfume and simple stud earrings work well and my classic uniform of dark jeans simple t-shirt and cardi with ballet flats or ankle boots is a no brainer . Mascara and mineral foundation plus a lip gloss gives me a fresh faced look in minutes and is easy to carry in my bag for emergencies. Keep it simple.

Be freshly showered every day.

Even, white teeth.

Spritz of good perfume.

Good skin.

Wear outfits, not just 'clothes'.

These should be your default position, then you can enhance further with make up, manicure/pedicure, hair colour, waxing etc.

Nice skin, hair, and eyebrows.

lottieandmia22 · 17/12/2017 23:13

Definitely a good hair cut
Manicured nails
I look after my skin - having good skin means you need less make up
Decent Make up
Clean teeth (flossed)

lottieandmia22 · 17/12/2017 23:13

Yes good eyebrows will frame your face.

Also lashes can make a big difference - I have eyelash extensions.
