Is it wedding type attire or a bit more casual ?
I'm watching not playing and will have small children with me including a baby who tends to cop a feel whenever he spots a boob.

Blimey, indeed. Grin

I take it you'll be going the oh-so-classy Geri Halliwell route...

GooseyLoosey · 21/07/2011 21:54

Green wellies and a wax jacker.

SkelleyBones · 21/07/2011 21:57

Dear God she looked a sight didn't she, forgot to put her dress over her underslip Grin
DH tells me it's smart casual, I have a black and white dress I bought for a wedding a few years ago i've never worn i'm hoping to squeeze into.
Am thinking nude heels and fab hair. The DD's can wear floaty frocks and baba will no doubt strip down to his vest, like father like son.

How about a von dutch hoodie, juicy couture trousers and gold reebok classics.. you'll fit right in :o

It depends which polo and what you're going for. If it's a normal polo match then jeans, boots and shirt are fine, or a nice dress if it's sunny. If it's a charity polo match and you're having hospitality then a nice dress with wedges.

If you're lucky enough to be going to Cartier Polo this weekend then the same applies. If you're in the Smiths Lawn enclosure it will be slightly more dressy. If you google Cartier Polo images you will see that last year ladies were wearing everything from trouser suits through to maxi and mini dresses.

I'm wearing this dress on Sunday:Fab Osman Dress with some platform sandals.

SkelleyBones · 22/07/2011 09:18

There are different types of polo ? Arghhh
It's a charity work do thingy, so dress should be ok I guess, I like an excuse to dress up and we haven't had a wedding for years so am looking forward to it.
Enjoy Cartier

It's not different 'types' of polo, but yes, different types of matches, e.g. league and non-league matches, cups matches and tournaments and then there's the really big events such as Cartier or large charity events.

You will have a great time, read up a bit on the rules before you go and don't forget to take your binoculars, and join in with the divot stomping too.

Whistles have a great selection of dresses. buy one with a nod towards the mod tunic and it will last for AW/11

Take a light jacket Oasis here or silk mix cardigan try Banana Republic

Some comfy wedges Comptoir des Cotonniers or Hobbs shoes are very comfy.

A classic clutch oversized and some Designer Sunglasses like Linda Farrow.

I shall be sporting Chanel no 5 and a cut glass accent, accessorised with a black lab pup

SkelleyBones · 22/07/2011 11:28

Do you have to get a new pup every year ?

Our gun dog kennel has a steady supply, our estate needs a lot of dogs as we have a lot of guns for the season.
