I love that jacket!

I find with Toast that I really have to scour through but when I do find something I like it very often becomes my favourite thing ever so I persevere

It is hard work though, also massively overpriced when not in the sales

Levantine, I completely agree with you - though compared to places like Jigsaw and Whistles - similar prices - the quality is much much higher

ooo am tempted with that jacket - if only it had a hood...

inside, it has a label from this company: www.britishmillerain.com/ - like Barbour, but better because it's not shiny, and it doesn't have that smell, and you can put it in the machine. Have tested showerproof claims quite throughly since it arrived, and it's also a good length.

Jacket sold out in my size. I talked myself into it, but the Gods have forced a sensible outcome in my case. It is lovely, though.

Love the LK Bennett dress. I have the Isabella Oliver dress but I think it's more smart lunch than black tie. Not too keen on the one from Monsoon.

the sizes are very very generous - you could easily get the size below your usual one, if that helps at all? I promise I don't work for toast or anything

The skirt is brilliant. Perfect fit, lovely fabric. I might get the green one as well.

Bearcrumble, you say the skirt is true to size then?

(I've found some Toast items to be way oversized in the past).

I think if you are between sizes then best to go for the one smaller, but I wouldn't say it was a whole size down.
