How to stretch the 'peep' in my peep toe shoes?

have these beauties, but feels like my big toe is being strangulated/strangled (?) when I wear them. Have tried stretching them by wearing with thick socks (my toes went blue) and wooden shoe stretcher doesn't fit right into that part of shoe.

Any suggestions please? Or do I have to shut up and put up with it?

avidly hoping for an answer. I have the same problem

Bag of water, knotted, pushed well down into shoe. Freeze. Water expands taking shoe with it. ( Haven't actually done this but I read it and filed it away in my little known facts brain )

Hey moomin am thinking if ordering these! Do they look as lovely on as they do online? Think you should post a pic to your profile to show them off a bit! Good luck with the stretching, hopefully they'll just soften up maybe?

hey iloveb.. they are things of beauty - I take them out of the box and stroke them daily (saddo). I actually got them on EBay for £60 less than rrp (so in my mind they were a bargain)

don't think I would have the nerve to put them in the freezer. what if the patent finish cracked I would be inconsolable Wink

now am thinking maybe a roll up sock shoved in the peep toe bit after spraying with leather stretching spray (or am I deluding myself?)

Rub some e45 or similar into the leather?

MooMinCow · 15/07/2011 19:34

e45? would that be on the underside bit (the non patent bit?). I guess if they softened up it wouldn't be so uncomfortable?
