Right, who was it who recommended Nivea Tinted Moisturiser...?

.... because I want to snog you, as they say.

It's brilliant. It gives good coverage, a touch of colour (but not orange), it's so quick to put on, you need hardly any... and best of all it's bloody cheap! (just under a fiver - bargainous.)

A dash of translucent powder over the top and my blotchy, sallow skin looks all smooth and even. I'm really very happy.

My only advice would be to rub it in as soon as you put it on - don't dot it all over your face and then do each bit as it seems to streak a little that way (could just be my peculiar skin).

Thanks!

Bluddy I do wear moisturiser underneath and I agree, personally I can't see much difference between this, Olay touch of foundation and actual foundation. They all seem very similar in consistency.

Yes I definitely think that as my skin has aged I have to pile on more moisturiser, and I always moisturise plenty before putting this stuff on.

GwendolineMaryLacey · 19/07/2011 11:55

Anyone want some? Here Blush

RichTeaAreCrap · 19/07/2011 12:59

oh I bought some after seeing this thread, I love it for a quick cheap everyday cover.

Gay40 · 19/07/2011 13:04

Seeing as I'm starting to look like a crumpled teatowel, I think I might give this a go too.

MinnieBar · 19/07/2011 13:47

Oops sorry GML. Just goes to show I suppose... Olay just goes all stripey on me and I just look like one of those women who can't do foundation.

That did occur to me as well. I sat and looked at myself and thought "shit, do I look this bad in the other one??"

I like the consistency but the colour is too dark on me. I'm very pale and I looked like I had dunked my head in a bucket of cold tea. Goes on nicely though.

RichTeaAreCrap · 19/07/2011 13:56

How weird our skin is GML - you see the Olay one looks awful on me and my skin tone is quite pale. The Nivea one looks much better for me.

It's great for just everyday kicking about wear, but wouldn't wear if it I was going out, it isn't good enough for that on me, I need my MAC foundation.

Gay40 · 19/07/2011 22:25

I went and had a look tonight. They all look a bit orangey. They had sold out of the Nivea Tinted Moisturiser though Hmm and that's the one I wanted to try.

Gay40 · 22/07/2011 17:31

Day 1 of the Nivea Tinted Moisturiser usage, brought on by the zombie who looked back at me in the miror this morning. I have never used any sort of make up so at first it felt weird.
I do look a bit like I've caught the sun (English sun). But I like it.

Blondie91 · 28/02/2018 18:03

I’ve just started useing the nieva tinted day cream, am very impressed as am looking for a hassle free none heavy cake look like you get with foundation, can’t be bothered spending hours on putting on a foundation then go to work stand in a hot hairdressing salon then look like melted premark madquin, plus getting break outs, find that my face getting air better with tinted moisturiser

CakeNinja · 28/02/2018 19:51

Blondie, how on earth did you happen to resurrect this absolutely ancient thread?!
Obviously the cream is still going strong though, and this might be helpful to others!! Grin

CallarMorvern · 01/03/2018 09:40

Ha, that's a zombie.

But I use it too, bought it as it was cheaper than the Garnier version that I was going to try, didn't expect much, but actually it's really good ( and does have an SPF, though think it may only be 15).

sportyfool · 01/03/2018 09:53

Can someone please link to the correct one ? There seems to be a few .

CallarMorvern · 01/03/2018 12:20

This is the one I use, no idea if it's the one upthread as this thread is 7yrs old.

I am thinking if trying the Q10 one, whilst it's on offer though.

I just add that I'm 48 and very pale, I wear it on top of Boots Botanics radiance balm and a bit of Rimmel concealer.
