which shoes with a maxi dress for a wedding?

After trying on what feels like squillions of frocks for my sister's wedding next month, I've found a lovely one from Monsoon. Doesn't seem to be on the website now but it's grey and pinks, flowery (but not in a naff way) and silk. I'm 5ft 9 and it's down to the floor pretty much, sleeveless and v-neck with a wrap-over effect under the waist and a tie belt from the back. i would normally wear flip flops but need something smarter for a wedding - what would you suggest? I think heels and a maxi are not quite right. Need help! I'm a bit stuck. Thanks all.

I'd go for some smart sandals - with pebbles/gemstones on.

Definitely wedges, tan or as neutral as possible, they always look the best with Maxi's it's all about balancing the length etc.
