Can you find me a moisturiser? Mission impossible!

I've been using Olay double protection nourish and protect sensitive day cream.
It's not doing the job frankly.
I have:
Dry skin
Uneven skin tone
Red cheeks and nose
Occasional spots
Shiny forehead
I want:
To not look haggard (fine, miracles don't happen!)
Moisturised skin that doesn't make my make up look dry and powdery.
To help my uneven skin tone
To lessen the redness- I have No7 green cream and frankly I just look a green powdery mess.
I'm late twenties but getting some lines- seriously!
SPF included if possible.
Budget £10-15

If you could recommend an under eye concealer for less than a tenner too it would be most appreciated.

I love Youth Code by L'Oreal and keep coming back to it as it makes my skin feel lovely and soft. I can tell within a couple of days when I use something different.
SPF is prob not that high though. I'm currently using La Roche Posay tinted moisturiser with SPF 50 and it's giving me a few spots but it's giving me the sun protection.

My Face My Mix from Boots concealer is good. Just below a tenner but usually on a 3 for 2 offer and the foundation is also good.

Another Liz Earle fan here... would highly recommend.

Fluffycloudland77 · 13/07/2011 15:23

I use the liz earle range, Hot cleans and polish, skin repair, toner and deep cleansing mask and its calmed my skin down.

I only starting using the toner because it smells so nice but it does seem to reduce redness and I didnt use a toner for at least 7 years prior to getting a free sample in with my order (damn them with their free samples they know you'll like it and start ordering it).

Ok this may not fit the bill but have you thought of trying rosehip oil on your face at night? Seriously brilliant stuff.

mepsopie · 13/07/2011 20:56

I've chopped and changed with moisturisers over the last year. my skin goes red and dry on cheeks and oily on chin when I'm stressed which is all the time at the moment.

The only thing that helps is Lancome hydra zen anti stress cream.

Midwife told me yesterday my skin looked amazing.

Moisturiser - have you tried Boots Botanic range? Cheap and fab. The face balm with argon oil is seriously good (organic too) and most stuff with argon oil (Kiehls etc) is horrendously expensive.

Also for concealer, cannot recommend highly enough Dermacolour camoflage palette - a mini palette of 16 different concealers, all different shades so you can match exactly to face - or where ever. From Screenface make-up shop in Monmouth st, Covent garden. WC2. About 18 quid but seriously, I've had mine for 3 years + and no sign of running out.

prolificwillybreeder the mind boggles at your name Grin

You can get Liz Earle from QVC 0800504030 or QVC website

They have alot of kits/small sizes as well as full sizes.
30 day money back guarentee
and because it is in and out of the warehouse I know it hasn't been sitting on a store shelf for however long.

I use Dermalogica. I have Active Moist and also their tinted moisturiser (medium) for summer. It has really changed my skin.

Mincey · 14/07/2011 14:18

Oleo Replenishing Facial Moisturiser no question. Fab for dry skin, contains neroli which is great for reducing redness. Rosehip seed oil to improve texture and tone, and no mineral oils to clog your skin and cause spots. All the oils are plant based. Fits your budget at £12.20. On line at www.oleobodycare.co.uk
