Colour consultant in East Herts please

Have been convinced (on here) that I need to get my colours down as part of my 'turning 40 looking better not worse' campaign.

Can any of you recommend a good consultant in the East Herts/near Stansted area please?

Also, my hair is lighter/more gingery than usual (due to a home dye incident) and I'm probably going to colour it back to my usual darker brown - should i do that before seeing a consultant?

oh and aibu to think that a colour consultant whose website/page is riddled with spelling mistakes and layout issues probably isn't best-placed to advise on image? why on earth wouldn't you spell-check/ask someone to edit it?

anyway, with those consultants taken out of my selection I'm now looking at a House of Colour one based around Cambridge which is a bit further from me. Anyone used her?
