So, I have been invited to a black-tie party and have nothing to wear. In my previous life pre-DC I had my own business designing and making wedding/evening gowns and so I thought I would make my dress for this party, but I am struggling with the style. I used to find it very easy to design for others, but find it nearly impossible for myself!
One of the main problems is that since having my second DC I have lost so much weight that I barely have a 'woman's' figure. I have no breasts at all and little in the way of hips. I am very self-conscious about this (and the comments I get don't help) and find dressing my 'figure' very hard. So the dress needs to give me a bit of shape and hide the bones (no mean feat!!) 
I am also tall, so I am worried that a full length dress will make me look like a very long thin beanpole!!

These ideas are for inspiration only, but hopefully you get the idea! I need to cover up, but add some shape and interest. It is a tough order, but hopefully some of you will have some more ideas for me!
