Has anyone hairy successfully had IPL? Not sure if it's working for me

I've had two sessions - upper lip and chin, and my legs - the face is the result of a Groupon deal, while the legs are costing £70 a time.

My upper lip is now looking hair free, but I can't see a difference in the other areas and I'm wondering if it's worth carrying on.

The hairs didn't seem to fall out at all from my legs and the more stubborn parts of my face - so I'm having to shave regularly which is a pita. I don't have PCOS by the way - a scan has ruled that out. The last (second) treatment was a week ago.

I have pale skin but dark hair. I'm told this is supposed to be the ideal combination for IPL to work. Am I being too impatient?

Has anyone had it successfully?

I'll carry on with the facial treatment as that's paid for, but I'm wondering if I should just go back to epilating my legs and give up on the dream of hair-free legs for the rest of my life.
