I went for a patch test/consultation today after being bought six sessions of treatment, for hair removal on upper lip and chin. The therapist told me it took 6-12 sessions, possibly upto 15, for effective hair removal.
Because of the way that she made the point, of having had six sessions bought for me, but as I'd 'obviously been saving up before that', she thought I wouldn't have a problem paying for more if necessary.
Apart from that being none of her business (!!!), I was wondering if she was just trying to get me to pay more, or if indeed it does take that many sessions and she's quite right? She said she would start me off at a lower level then increase, so did the patch test at 6 and said she would start the treatment at 7.
Any knowledgeable bods out there?
