Do you think the babyliss big hair would work on shoulder length bob- really thick hair? ive just had my hair cut but it looks a bit crap and i have a fat face and i want to look like claudia winkleman! thx

I reckon you'd be just about long enough - someone will come along in a minute with that length hair hopefully. Thick hair shouldn't be a problem.

You might be amazed how "big" your hair gets though if it is already thick...

I got mine when my hair was a shoulder length bob (it's grown out a bit now) and it definitely worked. It does give a lot of volume though. Not in a particularly Claudia Winkleman way though (which is a shame because I'd like to look like her too). If you've already got thick hair can't you achieve the Winkleman effect with blow drying?

Well I have mine and I have a slightly longer that ear length bob and it does work and it does make a difference. It will only get better the longer my hair gets.

I have very thick hair and slightly shorter than shoulder length hair and a Babyliss Big Hair! It does give volume and shine, but that may not be what you want. I think I look very groomed and not a hair out of place. Mine burnt out the other day and have used straighteners since then. Interestingly have had many more positive comments about straight hair than Big Hair.

oh no! i do want like ms winkleman but i can't blowdry for toffee! thanks for all your advice. i might try the tresemme one as heard its pretty good and dont think i would use enough to justify the babyliss price. maybe i should just whack some heated rollers in? hmm

I'd swap my hairddryer for a BBH anyday, it's so much better.

I have very fine hair and it take 5 mins to dry but at least it's not flyaway and flat(ish) anymore.
