Gaudy but exquisite silk jacket. would you get it?

I was in a boutique yesterday and found a really flashy (lots of bright colours) silk jacket reduced from £250 to £15. The silk was so beautiful. I didn't consider it at the time but now think it might be okay with black trous/leggings and a white cami/tee. It was soft and unstructured. Would it be a waste of money to buy it do you think? The sheer beauty of the material is so tempting.

Hmmm I can't make up my mind. I think I like the fabric but not mad keen on the shape iyswim.

But then again I'm trying (and struggling) to think of an occasion I would wear it.

Not much help but I would adore it as a robe if it were kimono shaped.
