Lip gloss where you can notice the colour

Any recommendations for coloured lip gloss that actually looks like a colour please? Spent ages trying out lip glosses in squeezy tubes today, colours looked lovely in tubes but could hardly see any colour when on lips, very feeble and disappointing, or is that just what they are all like? Thanks all Smile

They've stopped making Almost Lipstick except in that colour, apparently. I still buy it from Fenwick.

No they are not glossy. But you can apply gloss on top.

Nina Ricci do good stronger colour lip glosses. Also Bobbi Brown and Dior.

Everlasting lipgloss from Avon has excellent lasting power and the colours look good. I use the neverending nude and although it's not a dark colour, it's not sticky and it really does last for about 5 hours (drinking coffee/tea etc during that time too). If you don't like the colour you can send it back to Avon and try another colour for no extra cost (there are 6 to choose from I think).

I like the No7 glosses - they are not a lip stick but more than a gloss and stay on ages.

I saw an ad for a lip gloss by collection 2000 which is meant to stay put for 6 hours, i think it was called lock and hold. It reminded me of this thread.

yy Chanel Rouge Coco Shine. Some of the colours are fab (v difficult to tell how they will come out though - you really need to test on lips not swatch on hand) and it is so lightweight. Am currently wearing Monte Carlo at all times - sheer v flattering red

The "buxom" lipglosses from bare minerals are fab. I have a darkish red (can't remember the name, sorry - the colour comes through really well though).

My friend lives in the Dior shine lipsticks and the colours look great on her, but I find they don't suit my skin tone as well. Worth looking at maybe.
