if you had no knowledge of it before today? would you feel physically comfortable going on a sun holiday or would you feel you needed to diet/book hair appointment/tan/waxing/whatever else people do for holidays?

I could be ready in an hour too... assuming I am going somewhere that has shops for the things I forget!

WowOoo Calgel is a coloured gel coating applied to your nails, which lasts about 4 weeks. It makes them look amazing and doesn't chip so is perfect for holidays. On the downside it has to be soaked off, which is a faff and costs about £50 to have hands and feet done. It's really worth it for hols though, you'll never go back to chippy polish.

Yes, in an hour too!

You know you have been a mum too long when you wonder how this makes your nails a bright colour. Hmm Blush

See I don't get it. Are people on holiday that much more judgy discerning than those in your usual haunts? What happens to people who are on holiday where you usually live, do they stand out as being so much better groomed?

I'm off on holiday in a few hours and have precisely nothing done. And I'm going to France too - who I have been lead to believe by Bonsoir ARE that much more discerning. Bring it on I say!

PurveyorOfBaloney · 17/06/2011 23:04

Have HAD precisely nothing done - I have packed, obviously Grin

for me it's the whole bikini thing. i dont wear a bikini normally. the most anyone sees of me is my bares arms and feet if i am in sandals. my own town is not what you would call a holidayers paradise Grin so i dont often see holiday makers here. also the fact that i will be going with two younger girls who haven't had 2 children each.

I could be ready for a holiday in 30 mins. 20 mins to pack and 10 mins to run a Bic razor over my legs, armpits and bikini line. Spray some fake tan on as I walk out the door and let it develop streak on the plane.
