Which colour Pashmina?

Okay - so my ball gown is this colour

The first blue dress and similar in cut apart from the side rose and cut away material.

I have a matching taffetta shawl but it's stiff and I'd prefer a soft pashmina to wrap around my shoulders.

Firstly, would it look okay to mix materials and secondly, what colour/shade would look good.

I have sparkly silver shoes but they probably won't be seen.

thanks

what about this silver grey pashmina?

Yes to the grey. Very classy.
Mixing materials fine.

Don't know what colour hair you have or handbag or little bit of jewellry, but with those colours a nice splash of red/orange/green - something bold to accent it. Whatever suits you!

My house is a mousy fair, I'd say.

I was thinking a silver clutch but maybe you're right about the differnet splash of colour - I'm not very good when it comes to co-ordinating bags/shoes/wraps etc

this bag?

OP posts:
vintageteacups · 15/06/2011 11:36

Do I mean clutch bag? A small rectangle one that you just hold in your hand? Or is called something else?

OP posts:
vintageteacups · 15/06/2011 11:39

maybe it's a clutch purse ??

Clutch if you don't have that much stuff. (too small for me, but very dainty)

Take all the stuff with you when you go to get a bag and ask shop assistant who looks nice. Try on shoes even if you're not going to buy. Good if someone can see the colours together.
If it's a minky grey it might not look good with silver.
Or colour splash with nails, little hair slide anything!
Happy shopping, you lucky lady.

Thank wowoo - so do you mean the silver grey wrap might not tone with my silver shoes?

Pale ish orange pashmina may be nice with navy and silver?

vintageteacups · 15/06/2011 11:46

not good with orange - I have pale skin with pinky undertones and fell a bit "look at me everybody!!!" if I wear orange Grin

No - forget what i said last. You'd need different shoes.
Think I should go away until someone else comes along to suggest.

And yeah I meant that if it was minky beigey grey.Silver grey OK for sure!

Confused

I think the splash of red for the bag is a great idea though.
