Thin long feet nightmare

Am I the only person on earth with feet that require a UK 8 for length, but are not as wide as a pair of fecking boats? I'm having real trouble finding ballet flats and low-heeled sandals that are long enough for my skinny weird long toes but that I don't walk out of because they're way too wide.

I know you can get wide-fitting shoes so does anyone know of any slim-fitting brands? Or just brands that do not assume that foot width necessarily goes up massively as the length goes up?

I agree, it is a nightmare although mine are only 7s. Complete PITA and slim fittings are not as readily available as wide ones. Wider ones seem to be generally available on the high street - I've never seen a slim fitting.

LK Bennet shoes are narrow but pricey.

I have the same shape feet. Camper, hush puppies ( size down) and fat face are good for me.

Yes I have really annoying thin and narrow feet. Why don't the high street cater for us?! I can rarely wear slip on shoes as they fall off, grrr! I just want pretty shoes

Annoying thing is that the ones I bought/the kind I'm looking for are strappy and buckled. I did think about the narrow-feet thing before I bought them but assumed I'd be able to buckle them up tight enough.

mail order from James Inglis but most are granny style. There's also a place in London - Crispins- in Chiltern Street- they do long and narrow but are £££. They too have a website.

Also - some Clarks styles - mostly like boats, but Clarks Original desert boots are C fitting (not sure what size they go up to though) - and - weirdly - some of their wedges are v narrow (can read reviews on the website and pick those that people complain about being too narrow)
