Tell me about Mint Velvet

Just heard of it on an anti-PU thread and love some of the stuff on their website. Is it good quality? And how do sizes come up? I am 50, lumpy, well-norked and have been known to wear linen trousers. 5'7" and Size 14 bottoms in M & S fit me just right, but have to go up to an 18 in tops. Tell it to me straight - is Mint Velvet for me?

I find the quality a bit hit and miss, have seen jumpers still on hangers in the shop terribly bobbly

I do like MV and I own NOTHING, I repeat NOTHING by Pruna.

I like MV, although this season has been a bit of a disappointment, tbh. They'll be someone coming along in a minute saying that it's all grey but fortunately that colour suits me so I don't care. Come up pretty true to size and quality on the things I have is good but you do need to pick and choose.

I'll just sound the alarm for StyleandBooty - a MV afficionado.

I like their stuff although their sizing and quality is a bit hit and miss. I don't mind pay £75ish for a top if I love it but I don't expect it to have loose thread hanging off.

Be careful with the descriptions as well, I ordered a top last year that was described as 100% silk. When it arrived the floaty top part was silk but the cami underneath was some nasty fabric.

its very variable a LOT is rather per una. they have an obsession with leather jerkins and overpriced bags with tehir OWN NAME On it - why would i pay to advertise your store.
they also like sequins and daffy looking models

Everything is grey with the occasional bit of cream thrown in. That's about it really.

I was a bit disappointed this summer, tbh. But true to size, and generally good quality with the odd exception.

I bought a top for £75 and sent it back as very poor quality. Shame as on the website it looked lovely!
