Dress for a day function pls

Going to be on a corporate table.

Dress code is dress to impress.

I am a size 12 hr glass shape but what should I wear ?? Quite like a maxi but worried someone else may wear the same pattern.

Help pls!

How about the hobbs Rizzo dress? It has a slight 'Pretty Woman' vibe to it, and, as an hourglass, I reckon it'd be fine for your shape.

How about a fabulous 50s style dress with a poufy petticoat? The Vivien of Holloway ones are good, but the Whirling Turban ones are really lovely if you have time to wait for delivery. The Whirling Turban wiggle dresses are great too.
