i love a kooky shoe. I like the idea of these but can't settle on which ones. What do you think?

Ooh yes we all must worship at the altar of Louboutin...

MissBehiving - thanks for that link, i just threw up in my mouth.

There are nicer shoe threads today. Honest

Lipstickgal · 06/06/2011 12:51

So they're not your thing VR. Why continue to comment? The fact that you don't like them has been conveyed quite well thank-you. On several occasions......why bother yourself?

Lipstick gal - not to cause offence but to enjoy the lighthearted banter that arises from differing opinions. If we all liked the same, it would be a dull and dreary world. So I bother - because its all in good lighthearted taste.

And I cant go, not while someone on the internet is wrong...Grin see!

Lipstickgal · 06/06/2011 13:03

Very passive aggressive.

Lighten up Lippy - it's only a pair of freakin shoes. S & B is all about asking for and getting opinions - if you don't want then don't post.

ShowOfHands · 06/06/2011 13:15

I love Victoria Plum. And Holly Hobby. DD's room is a shrine to Sarah Kay.

I care not for fashion and style, merely for fripperies that make me chuckle.

Lipstickgal · 06/06/2011 13:18

....Take your own advice and lighten up and try opening your mind while you are at it. I will post what I like and I need no permission from you.
My post was what pair not if I should buy from this company. Goodbye.

Well for a thread about whimsical fairy shoes, I think this was unexpectedly fraught.

FoundWanting · 06/06/2011 13:30

I love you, ShowOfHands

If you go to Kentwell Hall, near Bury St Edmund's, on one of their 16th Century re-enactment days, you can learn how to make your own shoes. And spin your own wool; paddle a coracle; make some beer; etc. If that is your thang. Grin

MissBeehiving · 06/06/2011 13:32

FairyNuff Grin

ShowOfHands · 06/06/2011 13:33

So much my thang, you have no idea. Oh God that sounds brilliant.

allhailtheaubergine · 06/06/2011 13:33

That sounds awesome FW. I need to do that. Do you think there'd be mead? And beekeeping?

voiceofnoreason · 06/06/2011 13:35

and ricketts?

ShowOfHands · 06/06/2011 13:38

And a pile of consumptives in the corner.

Bliss.

Shall we have a meet up?

voiceofnoreason · 06/06/2011 13:41

we should do so to compare sores and scabs ;-)

Check out my scrofula - its in this seasons colours Grin

FoundWanting · 06/06/2011 13:45

We went last year and it was a most enjoyable day for all.

Had a long and rather rude chat with a female archer (archeress?). The re-enacters are brilliant.

Here's a linky.

MissBeehiving · 06/06/2011 13:48

Kentwell Hall is fabulous. When I was a kid the school took us every year. I came past it the other day and thought that I wanted to go back.

FoundWanting · 06/06/2011 13:53

Big weekend re-enactment thingies coming up very soon where you change your money into groats and have to speak in ye olde Englishe all the time.
