My sister is going to a black tie event for academics. She is absolutely not a girly girl, hates anything frilly.. She's 55. She likes Oska type clothing - i.e. structured, plain, maybe quirky, understated, beautiful. Where does she start looking? She's lives in London so can shop there but with limited time. I didn't ask about budget but I think under £200?
Thanks

Shoon on Marylebone High Street does lovely clothes as well as shoes, full range of Oska plus lots of other lovely (if you like that sort of thing) stuff - a fair bit of it at the evening end of the spectrum. I think I will head this way in another few years.
