Today -

a Breton top from Hobbs - black and white with one red stripe

I also bought some of that 3 Day Syraight stuff from John Frieda - will report back!

An outfit for DBil's wedding last week - coast floral shift dress, cropped jacket and the most beautiful LK Bennet purple heels.

I have also bought a tunic/dress from Oasis sale and a grey smart t shirt from Matalan.

Some black leggings and a long flared brown/print top from river Island which has a fab square neckline plus a big waspy type belt.

I have just bought these boyfriend style chino cropped trousers from Uniqlo...

I have also bought these J Brand Earhart slouchy cropped trousers my sister lives in NY so has sent them over from there, but still ££££ but they did look lovely on.

Nothing exciting at all recently.

I bought some Paige jeans at weekend. After years of buying 7's I much prefer these - they are higher at the waist too and sooo comfy. Expensive but well worth spending the extra for a nice pair of jeans.

I bought these shoes from LK Bennett last week (Sabira in taupe)
Have been agonising over them for ages - have now seen they have gone up from £140 last week to £150 this week so feel much better. They are my "back to work" shoes for August after 9 months of happy slovely ML

There will now be a 20% off code in a magazine in June to spoil my joy.

Pointy - do you have links? I love pale grey and it's good to know that Gap have nice things again, as I think they had hit a real low from about last October onwards.

cyb- I bought them in store, I didn't realise either , loads more choice online than in the store I was in.

the gap croppies are perfect and really stretchy as the reviews on teh gap USA site say

Herecomesthesun - I've had my eye on the top for ages but I tried it on months ago and stupidly didn't buy it and it's eluded me ever since, until I finally found it in HOF on Oxford Street yesterday.

What have you been wearing it with? I've got some 7/8ths black trousers and some red ballet flats which I thought might be nice in a 'shame I don't look like Audrey Hepburn' sort of way.

Diesel jeans in what I guess would have been called 'stone' in the 80s. I love them. I have a terror of smart trousers ? I think I look frumpy in them ? but am sick of jean-coloured jeans, so these are the answer to my prayers. I can wear a massive range of colours with these ones.

Also a chunky cotton white cardie from French Connection. Expensive but I love it and wear it over most things.

Am desperately looking for some shoes to wear with the jeans. I want a bit of a heel but not much and not spindly as I'm a heel lightweight. I want chunky straps and a colour that is NOT black or tan or bloody neutral. Blue or purple or orange would be good. Or maybe metallic ...

This is the sparkly jumper, I think. It looks dullo in the photo but the band around he neck is silvery lurex and it's a pale pale grey shade, not mucky white.
