Long tunic or button through shirt dress style

Where can I buy a long tunic or button through shirt dress style, preferably in one plain colour (no hideous prints) in heavy cotton or linen (no man made fibres) with long or 3/4 length sleeves, at a reasonable price, for a tall size 12/14, to wear over leggings or possibly over linen trousers? Am going to London (central and North - Primrose Hill & St John's Wood) for a couple of days, followed by a couple of days in Brighton during half term - any local knowledge welcome.
