Think The TB is a bit fussy too. The Mango dress still dressy but modern. I would go for something more like the Mango.

I think they are both nice but just that bit too short - unless you have amazing legs in which case

I'm also worried about the length of the mango one.
My legs are good but not amazing.

Why are so many dresses this annoyingly short atm?
I already have about 3 dresses that I only wear with leggings/skinnies.

I think I'll give it a go. Worth it at that price I reckon.

Honestly, I think the TB one is too short for a christening and agree its a bit fussy if you're top heavy.

the mango one is much nicer IMHO but don't know how the stripes, deep v and big boobs would work together (i'm falt chested so have the opposite problem)...also how short on you is it? I find the shortness of dresses in general and heels just accentuate it. If you are 23 or something that isn't a problem of course

Love the Mango one, the vertical stripes will size your boobs up though. The old 'rule' is SO wrong, horizontal stripes slim, vertical increase.

Am loving the suggestions that I might have fablous legs, or be tall, or be 23

(am 37 and 5.5 with ok legs)

Think I will order the Mango one. Might not work for the Christening but at that price it seems rude not to give it a try.

Is this the same dress as in your OP? It looks a lot less busy / overwhelming here. I like it.

The shape of this is great, very flattering. Not a colour many people could wear, I fear.

yes that is the same TB dress. Strangely that view of it has put me off. It doesn't look like it would fit over my boobs...

love the reiss dress. but I'd look pregnant in that. I need a waist.

No, it doesn't look very roomy in the nork department at all. The danger with that sort of big but relatively sparse print is that each dress varies massively depending which part of the pattern falls where, one may be may be way too busy, the next too sparse, a third just right. I'd never order anything with that sort of print, you really have to choose in person.

I suspect the Mango one will be fabulous (with a decent belt).

I saw a lovely spotted Mango one recently, which I thought would cover my boobs nicely. Will look for it.
Here. I know it's high-necked, but sometimes a wide scooped neck like that works with big bosoms, especially when there's no defined waistband.

The Reis one does have a waist BTW, the draping is excellent (assuming you have hips). It'd emphasize the waist while disguising the tummy, that model is way to straight up and down to do it justice.

Would the norkage fit in here?

You could wear a coloured belt / have a coloured sash added to the checked one. Match with shoes and bag, it'd be stunning.

A seamstress could add any style / colour of sash you fancied pretty inexpensively, TBH I'd just do it myself. this red belt would probably work, but it's pricy. Sash would be nicer.

I still love them mango one, just wonder if it's formal enough.

This from the same site is similarish to the reiss one, but stripy. Way too dull for what you're after, I think.

Solid purple. I wouldn't bother, but they're too bargainous not to share. I know the tyranny of substantial frontage and dresses only too well...
