Did you not say anything before paying/leaving? I would assume you have to go back and complain, but they may not do anything as you have already removed them yourself. I was thinking of trying some of these, is this the first time you have had them?

yes and im too scared to have them done again now :( I had to leave because I had to get ds from nursery so didnt have time to argue I have taken photos though

You could have gone back and either asked for your money back or asked them to remove them and reapply them. The fact that you have removed them yourself makes it a bit more difficult though if you took photos that are reasonably detailed that should be okay.

The Sale of Goods Act applies to "Services" as well. If you were to approach the salon owner with the photos she might be willing to re-do them and have a different therapist this time.

That said, for £13, that might feel a bit stressful, in which case, if you can put it behind you, it might be the easier option.

You get what you pay for and £13 isn't much for eyelash extensions - I paid £60 for mine and when quite a few fell of in the first few days I had no problem going back and getting them sorted. They were fine about it.

Having said that, if they were specific about how long they should last and what outcome you were to expect, and they have by no means met that, I would go back if I were you.

Im going to go in tomorrow and see what they say, i know its not alot but im just annoyed they're was far too much glue, they werent straight, she said they would look natural i looked like a fecking drag queen, they were so heavy and I asked if they could be shaped at the end because they were far too long and she said she couldnt.

£13?

Really?

madammecholet · 27/05/2011 10:23

£13 - did a toddler do them...Grin

Full set should have been nearer £100, half set about £50 and infills about £15 every 30 mins.

Sounds like the salon hasn't got a clue tbh....

Hi. I had my eyelash extensions continually done for a year. I would like to have a break. I call the lady to have it removed and she said that the price has increased by 50%. I asked why as the inflation is currently at 11%. She said that I am rude and she doesn't want to deal with me. I feel there is nothing wrong with existing client to querying 50% price increase.
No other salon wants to remove my lashes because their are not covered by insurance.
Can lash technician abundant client like this? Those are lashes from her and she should remove them for me shouldn't she?
I have gone through her posts on Facebook and she announces the price increases on the day. Should she be giving notice for price increase?
