Mascara makes me cry - sensitive eyes

Can't find any mascara that doesn't irritate my eyes. End up looking red-eyed and itching after an hour or so. Powdery eyeshadow is the same. Can only use pencil eyeliner.
Any ideas?

Blinc mascara might be worth a try?

Although I only use it now again as I find it a bit drying, so it depends what it is about ordinary mascara that irritates your eyes.

I have sensitive eyes too, but Boots No7 have brought out a sensitive eye mascara- it really works, and I can honestly forget I'm wearing it, even though my eyes are more sensitive than usual due to hayfever. I bought black/ brown, and I have very pale skin, and it wasn't dark enough for me, so I'd recommend just plain black.

How about this I only use non toxic products and bought this a few weeks ago and now it's in the sale, typical! If you click on mascara on the left hand side they do others that don't have harsh chemicals too. I don't have any problems with my eyes normally though.
