post-pregnancy floppy tummy! WHAT to do?

Hi! I was really lucky and had lost all my pregnancy weight by 3 weeks, I am no 5 weeks, but the stretched skin is hanging over now like a deflated muffin top! LOL. Are there any lotions or potions out there that can help to tighten the skin up? Thanks!

Not sure about lotions and potions but I found pilates very good.

I've just bought Shred. Mumsnet promised me it would work miracles!

It could simply be that it will take a bit of time for your tone to come back - 3 weeks is reall quick! In the meantime, pilates is great for toning abdominals, and there are always Spanx Grin

Pussinflatboots....what is Shred? Pilates sounds greast but due to a rather traumatic delivery and recovery, I was advised not to start excercising yet.

The 30 Day Shred DVD - but only when you're up to exercising Smile.

5 weeks is nothing - let your skin have a chance to recover!

You can use stuff like bio oil for stretch marks, and cocoa butter / aloe vera gel to tighten stuff up.

Realistically, with a reasonable amount of exercise etc you're still looking at the best part of a 6months, sometimes even a year before your skin gets back to normal.

If you're not happy with it after that, then yeah surgery is your option.

yeah skin takes about 6mths to retract a bit, give yourself some time. Try vitamin e oil that would help in the meantime.
