I have the same problem. Baby due 2 July (will be 2 weeks late if my last one is anything to go by) weddings on 6 and 13 August.

I'll be going down the maxi, heels, spanx route. Also I would make the most of those post pg boobs, especially if you're bf. No-one will even notice your tummy if they're looking at those bad boys!

I know it's hard with a new baby but try and either get your hair done or give yourself a proper blow dry, and wear lovely make up so you feel really groomed. If you can, treat yourself to some fab accesories - I find the little things can really lift an outfit and your spirits.

Plus, is it your first baby? If so you'd be surprised how much your tummy goes down in 4 weeks. I know not everyone has the same experience but I was back in my normal clothes with that time (albeit a bit wobblier), though this baby is A LOT bigger so doubt I'll be so lucky this time round!

Hope this helps!

How about something like this with a good pair of tummy control pants. The danger with a maxi dress is that it might still look and feel like maternity wear to you. The Reiss dress would cleverly flatter/hide the tummy and I think with fake tan and hair/make up done, clutch bag and heels you'd look fab. There are loads of less expensive drape style dresses around in the shops at the minute too.

i went to a wedding 5 weeks after DTs... I wouldn't recommend it! It was no kids so took breast pump, just went for the ceremony and champagne reception and wore top & skirt so I could get to my boobs.

If you'd asked me before I would never have said the skirt I chose would be suitable as it actually has a tight, small waist. But it is high waisted so was sort of above the remains of the bump and I used a massive belt to hopefully disguise it. It actually felt good to feel I was being 'held in' IYSWIM.

Main concern throughout the day was enormous, leaking breasts and of course worrying about granny and the DTs :)

iv no choice really co its my partners oldest friends weddin, i cant stand the bride as it, basically im only goin so i can upstage her with a new baby hehehe, luckly theyre havin the reception at a well known hotel were both my partner and his friend work so i no ill have access to any room i need to breast feed baba away from any pervy glaring eyes, but being the typical northern bolton lass i am, i wud make a joke about gettin my boob out at the table, also found out that our children are the only children who have been invited, so need to look yummy mummy rather than i gave birth 4 weeks ago, walking like john wane mummy lol, thanks for the tips girls xx
