Ebay question

Just been looking at an Orla Kiely bag, new season. On sale on OK website for £95 (or thereabouts). Someone has the same bag on ebay, new, with tags, and selling for £80 ish. How can this be? Where do they get them from that they can undercut the original price? Fakes? Not only OK items, I've seen loads of other brands too. Keen to get a bargain but don't want to spend that much money on a knock-off.

hmm - it isn't SUCH a big drop in price. If it were me I would look at the seller's feedback - see what they've sold in the past - are they a shop, or a private seller, and where are they based - here or abroad. I think you can normally spot if it's suspicious. Oh - also, what are the photos like? Do they look as if they've been taken from the official website as opposed to in someone's home

I understand that there may be circumstances where someone has receivedsomething like this as a gift and can't return to store, etc, therefore selling on ebay, but what about sellers that have lots of one particular brand? seems dodgy to me but perhaps the seller has bought a "job-lot" from somewhere?

..or it could be a shop, selling stock cheaper on ebay. I think I've seen that done before. One thing: if it says "authentic" then you can get a refund if it isn't. If it doesn't say that, why not ask a question "is this authentic?" - then you would have some comeback - and how about asking if it's perfect too? as opposed to a second.
