Does something like that even exist? Not looking for something to enhance curl, I want a smoothing de-frizzer.

Ideas ladies please!

Moroccan Oil is the way to go, I used to use John Freida's Frizz Ease products which are laded with silicone too, Moroccan Oil is truly a wonder product! ...the shampoo and conditioner are a must have too!

I may be mistaken, but I thought that Moroccan Oil products do have silicones added?

My hairdresser recommended Matrix Biolage products which contain argan oil (the active bit from MO)

MissFoodie · 16/05/2011 14:17

if you find one, let me know!!!
I have yet to find a de-frizzer that does not contain silicone....
I am using one at the moment which is v v good, but aint cheap: Gielly Green, is not at all greasy and is what I've found has the least amount of silicones in it

MissHonkover · 16/05/2011 14:37

Had a look at the Matrix site, and it looks like the styling products are not listed as silicone free, but the conditioners and shampoos I looked at were. The Moroccan Oil website doesn't mention silicone at all, have emailed them to find out.
Why don't these websites list ingredients? Pah!

I know...it's frustrating isn't it? I know the Matrix Biolage oil that I used was silicone free, but that may not apply to the whole range.

I will keep following this thread with interest...!

BTW check that it was the Matrix Biolage site you checked and not just the Matrix one..

MissHonkover · 16/05/2011 16:01

Yep, it was Biolage. Their shampoos etc look great, will investigate those next time I run out.

The Deva range from America do a silicone free serum called Mirror something, but I draw the line at shipping from the States! Grin
