Work maternity clothes that make you look not pregnant??

..and aren't really expensive? Can't afford Isabella Oliver or whoever she is. I usually wear knee length pencil skirts, that type of thing - am not such a trousers gal. Size 12.

I have just started out on my own with new business and don't want to tell main client just yet (will tell them in a few weeks) that I am pregnant (because I don't know them well and am still paranoid about something going wrong). Am only 14 weeks and could get away with it being a fat stomach rather than up the duff...especially as they don't know me - but all my work clothes are already too tight....and I have 2 important presentations in the next 2 weeks which I really have to look super smart for.

Suit (not a maternity one) in a size up from the one you normally wear, with the jacket worn open so that you can't see the bump in profile. Ebay is good if you don't want to spend a fortune on something you won't wear for long.

Look for wool crepe suits, it has a natural stretch to it, and like Tadlow says go a size up. Also go for old ladyish brands ie Windsmoor, Viyella, as they tend to have higher waistbands. I had to do very similar thing to you and got a black Windsmoor suit which really worked, I will try and link to something similar so you know what I mean.

thanks guys...I will look for those brands. Am reluctant to spend on something that will only fit for a few weeks and then be too big afterwards but it's probably a good idea to have something a size up anyway, right?!
