These ones

Or these ones

I'm thinking they might be quite pretty and quite comfortable, but need guidance.

I love that you want make me fit shoes to walk to the pub Grin

I like the first ones. Colour will go with more things and the strap on the back probably helps keep them comfortable on a longer walk.

polyhymnia · 16/05/2011 11:24

The strap at the back point is a good one - the Manyano I bought have that too. I find toe posts difficult and the strap takes the pressure off those, I think.

Have actually tried on the first ones in that colour (Indium) and they are nice. IMO. I just preferr the Fiorella because they're a bit more understated - though haven't bought those either because they don't have a strap.

MMQC · 16/05/2011 12:00

Thanks all! Not really in it for the make me fit aspects (it would take more than that, and possibly less walking to the pub!).

What are my other options then? Needs to be comfortable for two miles cross country and look reasonable on arrival. What would you buy/wear?

Merrell sandles are always comfortable for walking in
Would these be ok or perhaps too outdoorsy

upahill · 16/05/2011 12:04

link never came up!!

LeMousquetaireAnonyme · 16/05/2011 12:45

I had very good sandals from clarks a few years back they are not available anymore but were the same shape as those.

I also had those kind of style, they are really comfortable and look really smart. sandals

LeMousquetaireAnonyme · 16/05/2011 12:48

I often walk more than 2 mies a day, but on pavement/dirt road, if you really do cross country take the sandals in your bag and wear something else Wink

nokissymum · 16/05/2011 12:52

I prefer the first pair, the bronzy ones, will go. Nicely with most things, don't like the shape nor colour of the second pair.

mumtoted · 16/05/2011 14:28

Fit flops are the new crocs, IMO. I don't like seeing toe cleavage either.

OppositeOfBlooming · 16/05/2011 14:31

There's a picture of them in my dictionary. As an explanation of the word 'gopping'.

Them's some fugly shoes op.

Al0uiseG · 16/05/2011 14:36

Scoff all you like but I wore fit flops in Orlando "doing the parks" Dh and the boys wore trainers. Every evening their feet hurt yet mine didn't. After a week of Orlando we went for a beach week in Miami. My legs and bum looked fab...even if I do say so myself!

I love them.

MordechaiVanunu · 16/05/2011 17:28

Glad to hear that AlouiseG as I'm intending to wear mine to 'do the parks' and off to florida next week!

Al0uiseG · 16/05/2011 17:58

MordechaiVanunu · 16/05/2011 18:33
