Please don't say you don't like them. I'm a very sensitive, not superconfident 40ish mum whose taking a big step here so go easy on me. The problem I have is I'm not sure what to match them with.

Floaty summer dresses in light colours and bootleg jeans would go.

ladybod · 14/05/2011 19:27

What would leggings and a tunic be like?

ladybod, if you like understated shoes, have you tried Camper? (btw, I only get them in the sale at about 50% if I can!) Smile

Like them though!

dexter73 · 14/05/2011 19:43

I like your sandals. They look like they would go with lots of outfits and look very comfortable. What do you normally wear? They would go with jeans, maxi dress, shorts, and leggings and a tunic, pretty much anything.

iamabadger · 14/05/2011 19:44

I'm not sure about leggings, because of where the strap is [fusspot emoticon]

ladybod · 14/05/2011 19:45

Thanks iamabadger, am thinking dresses too but I might have to go down the leggings route due to the scary veiny nature of my legs. Thanks for camper suggestion groak I'd forgotten about the them.

iamabadger · 14/05/2011 19:52

Ah wouldn't worry about it anyway, loads of people do, I am like I said a fusspot about such things Grin

ladybod · 14/05/2011 20:07

Thanks for the vote of confidence dexter. This is a big departure for me: usually it's grotty plimsolls or birkenstocks. iamabadger, good point, do you mean it would look too crowded and squashed up?

I'm eyeing them up for myself actually! I am not very good at buying shoes and tend to live in ballet shoes or flip flops in the summer. I like that they have a bit of a heel as I can't walk in high heels. I would think leggings would be fine as long as they end just above the straps.

Minione · 14/05/2011 23:26

Hey, I've got those in the light blue! They're very comfy and I wear them with linen trousers, but will wear them with Jeans, dresses, whatever (I am 21 weeks pregnant so whatever fits really). I was worried they were a bit 'granny'(I'm 32) but tbh I was sick of traipsing round the shops and just wanted some comfy sandals.

GeneHuntsMistress · 15/05/2011 08:04

Ladybod if you are worried about your veins, get a can of Sally Hansen Make up for Legs, it's brilliant. It covers the little spider veins I have on one leg, with only one little spray!

BTW I like the sandals, although I would get the pink cos I like to be seen (and they would coordinate with more of my wardrobe)

bellavita · 15/05/2011 08:06

I like the sandals. They would go with all kinds of outfits. Leggings and tunic would be great.

ladybod · 15/05/2011 08:29

Good to hear you find them comfy minione. Was worried about the grannyish style but hey 'grannychic' is now the thing. thanks for the tip genehunts but I think I'd need a trowel and plaster for my veiny legs (variocose). Agree bellevita, think they would be a good allrounder type sandal.

BendyBob · 15/05/2011 08:43

Gosh I really like those! Good choice ladybodSmile

Minione · 15/05/2011 10:33

I'm glad everyone likes them! HAven't worn them with leggings yet so I might try that (I was worried they might look a bit 'odd' around the ankles).

AuldAlliance · 15/05/2011 12:15

They are nice.

I'm intrigued at the way the blurb varies with the colour of the shoe. The brown ones are feminine, apparently, while the pink are werable (whatever werable is...).

polyhymnia · 15/05/2011 17:24

Nice. Am I being incredibly dim - I can't find where it says the heel (wedge) height.

dexter73 · 15/05/2011 17:46

Not dim! It doesn't say how high they are.

polyhymnia · 15/05/2011 18:30

Minione - presumably you could tell us how high the wedge is as you have them? Not sure if OP has seen them in RL or not - if yes, she will know too.

TaffyandTeenyTaffy · 15/05/2011 18:33

Love the shoes... and give the fake tan a try. MIL has really bad varicose veins and I was really suprised at how good they looked with a bit of fake tan.

BikeRunSki · 15/05/2011 18:34

Ooh I like them. Might get some, have been looking for brown sandals.
Also 40 something mum!

Are they very high ? Am 4 months pg, and only getting bigger!

I also love Camper shoes, but my feet are too long and wide for them.

Minione · 15/05/2011 19:35

Hi, they're about 2 inches at the highest point but very comfy! I'm pregnant too Bikerunski (5 months) and they don't feel like wearing heels iykwim. I'm a teacher and I've worn them to work (we have a very relaxed dress code!) and my feet have felt fine at the end of the day!

polyhymnia · 15/05/2011 23:15

Thanks, that sounds good.
