Fit Flops or MBT type summer shoes, but without a toe-post - please?

Please help in my search! I need MBT-type shoes as they really help with my ongoing lower back pain. However, it is just too hot for them now Sad.

I have been looking for a summer replacement, but all the MBT 'sandals' are so fugly, I just can't bring myself to even try them on. I also can't do toe-post flip flops - I have tried several times and I just can't

Please sould you suggest something before my feet combust in the heat? Grin

fitflops do some which are non-toe-post. Try them!

Yes, they have just launched the Lolla - a sort of espadrille like slide - am going to try them, though imagine they are pretty informal.

Sketchers do some slider ones.

Wow, thanks. I like the look of the Lolla Smile. The Gogh look comfy, not sure if they cross the fugly line though Hmm.
The skechers are reasonably priced - are they like MBT then?
Reason for no toe-post is that I am really sensitive and just can't get used to the post. It feels wrong, and starts to hurt as soon as I do any serious walking Sad
Thanks one and all Smile

I have the same problem with toe posts.

PackingALunchBox · 14/05/2011 22:06

Right. Where on the High Street can I try these on then? I have never bought a pair of shoes online before - my feet are awkward buggers and I usually try on tens of pairs before I find ones that fit Hmm
