the button down one

it is the winter version of the pink cotton one they did in the summer that I wore to a smattering of applause

Enid · 14/11/2005 19:48

have you got it?

northerner · 14/11/2005 19:48

I too have baker boy style cap. Great with hair worn down. I like things on head. You mocked my headscarf thread though.

frannyandzooey · 14/11/2005 19:49

I have got the black angora cap on p5 of Accessorize hats. It is fab.

I didn't mock your headscarf thread, northerner - I bought two! But I don't need them so much now as my hair is just about long. I haven't had it cut for a year, whoo hoo.

other clothes are too much faff to go shopping for, but hats are good.

SenoraPostrophe · 14/11/2005 20:03

they are especially good if you haven't had time to wash your hair.

lalaa · 18/11/2005 12:51

hello hello
only just seen this thread (how POOR).
I'm excused the last four days since chemo, aren't I?? Also, was running around like mad thing all weekend due to dd's 3rd birthday party.

Anyway, got 5 hats now. Some from John Lewis and some from Accessorize. Gone for Baker Boy jobbies and the kind of plant pot ones too. Will find names etc......
Angora Downbrim with Flower Trim (page 3 on monsoon/acceossrise site). another one like this from JL which is dark background with flecks of turquoise in it (fave colour at the mo).
got a trilby from John Lewis which looks like the one on page 4 of accessorise site
two baker boys - one is a kind of hounds tooth in dark brown with some blue edging, and the other is a pink tweed job.

Sorted wig out before chemo (not at all bad, actually). And have three scarves now too.

It's a whole new excuse to spend money on stuff that I wouldn't usually buy...

MascaraOHara · 18/11/2005 12:59

Hello! I am fellow hat wearer - luuuurve hats. My latest purchase was from accessorize but checked the link to the website and it's not on there.

I do find though that I can't wear headscarfs. In fact I can't wear any hat that hasn't got some sort of brim. I have to stear clear or sporty caps - they make me look very 'fast food'

dressedupasagiantcod · 18/11/2005 13:02

lalaa thats great news
is the wig itchy?
yes you are excused - didnt want you to feel forgootne

mascara sporty is better forme!

lalaa · 18/11/2005 13:09

wig wasn't itchy when i tried it on, but have still got hair at the mo. will have to see what happens when it all falls out (2 weeks or so).

hairdresser thinks I won't wear it much anyway due to youth and wonderful bone structure.

depends on temp, i reckon. am so bloody cold could do with the wig right now.
