I'm so glad you all think it's nosedived too. The models are ridiculous and I've read this week they have cancelled their 'vanity' sizing. Boo!

BelovedCunt · 11/05/2011 16:43

they only go up to 18 which is a tad unrealistic in the big knocker demographic

ggirl · 11/05/2011 16:43

lol at pockets for yet tits
yes trews and skirts.........why?

have looked again denim dress is not nice

PinotGrigiosKittens · 11/05/2011 16:43

Think the 18 is now going to be closer to a 16.

pointissima · 11/05/2011 16:44

Figleaves is nicer

Bravissimo clothes all very syntheticky

ggirl · 11/05/2011 16:45

and I never understand why you would need bravissimo t-shirt
bog standard t-shirts are stretchy
they fit my mahossive norks fine
all of theirs just emphasize boobs ..look shit

BelovedCunt · 11/05/2011 16:47

yes the assumption that you are so glad to have your big knockers encased in a dress you don't care that if you attend a bbq you while turn it into a whickerman festival as you polyester goes up like a firework

kc0rns1lk · 11/05/2011 16:47

freya do really nice bikini tops and decent pants
see?
big pants
I have this

NoahFence · 11/05/2011 16:47

remember the woman in 'creatures great and small' her tits would arrive on screen about 5 mins before her

CatPower · 11/05/2011 16:49

I miss when Bravissimo was fab.

I'm a 36J Blush, 5'11" tall and far too flabby curvy for anything even resembling a bikini or a wrap dress. Agree with the poster above who said empire line makes her look pg, it does the same to me, or the "line" cuts across the mid-boob area making me look even bigger than I am.

I think I might do the "get fitted at Bravissimo, buy bras on Figleaves" trick next time I need some.

kc0rns1lk · 11/05/2011 16:49

me too
made for real boobs and not keira knightly titttage

BelovedCunt · 11/05/2011 16:49

i only wear freya i can't be arsed trying anything else adn they are generallyl the nicest anyway

ggirl · 11/05/2011 16:52

I mistakenly bought a IO wrap dress
my boobs look ridiculous in it

Twit · 11/05/2011 17:10

I was thinking more of wearing them as pj tops TBH. I like freya, they were the first bra to give me two boobs instead of one big one. 'twas a revelation.

I think most of their clothes have always been a bit meh though.
Wrap dresses/tops are always a bit dodgy IMO as they fall open so very, very easily, I always wear them with a vest underneath. Also alot of tops that look casual with little 'uns look very Bar Maid with big 'uns .

I have been looking at figleaves more and more too recently.

rookiemater · 11/05/2011 17:13

The clothes are vile, I tried some on in a shop and the official Mumsnet patented name for the range is Peppa Pig. However I do like being fitted for the bras so its nice that they have removed all the cheap nylony items from Bravissimo and punted them off to a separate shop.

3timesalady · 11/05/2011 17:21

Pepperberry yes?

breatheslowly · 11/05/2011 17:29

The fabrics used for the clothing range have always felt cheap and nasty - either too thin or too artificial to want to wear. I don't really get this as if you are going to spend £25 plus on a bra, then aren't you willing to buy decent clothes to go over them? Not to mention that it is quite possible to buy relatively cheap clothes which are made out of perfectly acceptable fabric.

I bought a cardigan from them once, within about a month it was falling apart. Luckily their shop assistants are marvellous and refunded my money without any fuss at all, but completely put me off buying anything else.

scotsgirl23 · 11/05/2011 17:51

Twit I have some of their actual PJ tops too which are actually very good and really supportive, but not wired. They have a built in soft bra - I have bought a few of them as I find slouching around in underwires quite uncomfortable.

moragbellingham · 11/05/2011 19:56

I've just bought 2 nightdresses. They are good (at sale price of £10-20) and now at least I'm not embarrassed to be seen without dressing gown.

The integrated bra tops were good for me - one back size up - before DC. They do ride up over my stomach a bit now though.

HeavyHeidi · 11/05/2011 20:16

Very disappointed with the latest selection. I want some decent work dresses and tops, but they only have a couple of jackets, same old shirts and everything else is clingy and leaves you half-naked. If I wanted something jersey and showing all my assets, I could shop anywhere.

Look at the necklines on all those new dresses, who thought it was a good idea? Even the ones that they recommend as work dresses show cleavage and in most offices this is simply not appropriate - I have about 90% men in mine, so I certainly don't want to draw extra attention to my boobs, they are quite obvious already.

scotsgirl23 · 11/05/2011 20:29

The work dresses are annoying - I had a lovely work dress from there last year which was pretty much perfect neckline - no actual cleavage, but still a flattering V neck. Most of their worky dresses also seem to be very very fitted at the bottom half - just because I have boobs does not mean I want to look like Jessica rabbit every single day!

Picked up a lovely dress in next who I normally don't get on with at all. I struggle with work dresses as anything to go with a suit is normally a shift, which suck for hourglass shapes. Looks a bit uninspiring online but very very flattering on - it actually suits someone curvier than the model TBH!
