I really need some help, I haven't got much self confidence in my body at the moment.

Summer is here and I have nothing that fits.

I am 5ft 11 and a size 16, with big fat legs and a wobbly tummy.

After 3 pregnancies in 3 years I feel a bit lost.

I live in a warm country, it will be 30plus degrees from now until about October so I am looking for light, cool clothes. but not tents.

Please help me, I went shopping last week and came back with nothing!

Surely Maxi dresses will be your best friend? Nice plain jersey ones for daytime and something with a nice print for smarter?

Get some gorgeous gladiator sandals too and a few pairs of interesting earrings and youre sorted : )

I have never worn a maxi dress before, I am always worried they will look abit like a tent on me.

Plus I don't think I could easily breast feed on the go wearing one?

Has anyone seen any nice skirt top combinations anywhere?

i am so with you. (but sadly in britain not in a hot country!) recently i went shopping for emergency summer outfits as due to 6 month ds i am bigger than usual and bf. I am also tall but heavier than usual! What works well on my tall/wide frame are long loose trousers with t-shirts or tops that have some shape or style to them so that i can still bf in them.

So i got: linen trousers in navy blue, white t-shirt (in a stretchy, clingy type material but loose fit iyswim) and the white t-shirt cam with a light weight navy blue waistcoat type thing (all from asda).

linen/polyester mix loose fit t-shirts (with nice draped necklines) to wear with skirts, trousers or linen shorts. (again, asda) or, you could wear them with a long linen skirt?

I also got some looser drapey 'swing' t-shirts (in a metallic bronze with a straight neckline so they have a definite style rather than just loose) and am wearing them with stretch skinny jeans (or you could do leggings) with a long necklace.

The key for me was a t-shirt top that had a definite style, but was loose enough to bf in. In previous pregnancies (like you i have 3) i used a jersey material dress which had a wrap-over top half, but i find it more discreet to use a tshirt for bf.

good luck

Please do not buy a maxi dress, there are only 2 types of people who suit maxi dresses - the very slim or the very curvy, you are neither and will look shapeless and still pregnant.

wholemoley has the right idea you still need shape, if you wear a very lightweight vest under t-shirts etc you can pull the t-shirt up and the vest down so you don't expose too much when feeding. Look for tops with ruching over the stomach area as they help disguise a bit of a post pregnancy tummy (my problem at the moment as well, along with love handles and rugby player thighs)

thats just it Librashavinganotherbiscuit and wholeymoley I need clothes with a bit of shape and style.

That is just me at the moment, a size larger than normal, love handles and wobbly tummy and rugby player thighs.

Has any one seen any stylish clothes out there? I just can't find anything I like. It all seems to be maxi dresses and shapeless clothes in see through material!

thanks for your help
