Just that really. Finally decided the time has come but I want to get it right. I've found somewhere I'm happy with but need to ask the right questions.
Would it be cheeky to ask the practitioner about his medical qualifications (he is a doctor) and his insurance?.

I think I'd want to know how long he's been doing botox specifically

You should not simply decide that Botox is the answer- there are plenty of other filers etc that might work better.

A good dr would offer you a consultation and discuss what you wanted to achieve, then suggest procedures that would help.

If he is a dr then he ought to have a website or at least something showing his experience etc.

I would also want to see a range of before and after photos and testimonials. I would expect proper consulting rooms and a team of staff.

If he is not openly advertising his qualifications and experience then i would look elsewhere.

i went to this person www.cosmeticskinclinic.co.uk and saw dr tracy mountford- very highyl experienced, done it for 20 years, featured in national press etc etc.

You might want to look at her website and see what she says so you cancompare with the person you have in mind.

Check the products used. Botulinum toxins vary in price as do dermal fillers, personally I would suggest only being treated with a premium brand.

Agree with checking portfolio. Remember that being a dr for x number of yrs does not equal having the eye or skill required for aesthetics.

Also look at your practitioner- if they look overdone or frozen then IMO they don't see anything wrong with that look therefore may happily do the same to you!

Agree that keeping your mind open re which treatment you need is a good idea.

Hope you have a great treatment experience!
